Rates mirror the current fee sheet posted at Murphy’s Livestock Auction. Contact the office if you have questions about specialty consignments or seasonal catalog sales.
Horses
13% of gross sale price + $25 entry (boarding included through the day after the sale).
Sheep, goats, cattle, large livestock
15% commission.
Caged/boxed animals (rabbits, birds)
25% commission.
Saddles (usable condition)
20% commission.
Horse tack & miscellaneous goods
25% commission.
Trailers
15% commission.
Horses (auction consignments)
$12/day. Entry fee covers boarding for auction day and the following day.
Overnight travel boarding (non-auction horses)
$25/day for travelers passing through. Feed included. Not available on auction days (first Friday and Saturday of each month). Call ahead to reserve.
Small livestock
$5/day. Waived when animals arrive and depart the same day.
Cattle
$12/day. Waived when animals arrive and depart the same day.
Other animals
No boarding service; must be received and removed on sale day.
